AVS offers a PERS system that is very unique in the
industry. All existing PERS systems must be in reasonably
close proximity to the base station to communicate with the person
who answers a PERS request.
 This is likely a monitoring
station. This can be a problem if you have fallen in a room
with a closed door or are just too far away to hear or be heard.
This PERS has 2 way communication
directly on the pendent. So your communication is as near as
the pendent you are wearing. This means you will be able to
talk directly with the person on the responding end of the system.
Another unique feature is that it
does not require a monthly monitoring fee. When activated, the
system will call 911 directly. It could also be programmed to
call a loved one or a neighbor who may assist you quicker in the
event you need assistance.
Although the Guardian 911 PERS can be
purchased independently, any customer who purchases the QuietCare
In-Home system will receive the PERS free. This will save
you the monthly monitoring you may currently be paying for your
PERS.
